Keep Them Coming
02:15
|
|||
Oo oo I’m in, keep them coming, keep them coming, keep them
Hear a number, it makes you wild
humming a tune that will melt your mind
hear the call, for my send off
I don’t want all the weight of a world too weak, I don’t know where to compete
You don’t know
You don’t know
said a major war couldn’t mess you up
and no heartbreak affects you..
You don’t know that
You don’t know that
You don’t know that to be true.
Oo oo I’m in, keep them coming, keep them coming keep them
Think of a number, it makes you cry
forces a tumor to shrink and die
hear a code, to cleanse your being
All the rules, and the laws, and the ways to be. the numbers plotting to kill me.
You don’t know
You don’t know
said a major war couldn’t mess you up and no heartbreak affects you..
You don’t know that
You don’t know that
You don’t know that to be true.
Oo oo I’m in, keep them coming, keep them coming keep them

Return to Eden
03:36
|
|||
Nature, creatures of eden:
accept my squad’s allegiance
We’re graceful, fleeting and feeble
we cycle through like seasons
Humble all of us cretins
Living out delusions
All cowards, shamelessly leading
your spiritless intrusions…always
No prayers for me
I’m in a different story,
where actions, not God’s plan
author a different story.
Life doesn’t owe me
I’m in a different story,
where kindness, not strength, reigns
Life in a different story
Good folk gather to grieve them
They desecrate, bereave us
Falsehoods fostered by egos
compromise, deceive us… always
Like a different season
like a different war or
like a different species
like a different world or
like a different story

Western Promises
02:18
|
|||
Once in the arid desert plains
Out of nowhere, the little fucker came
Odd, golden lizard-looking jawn
All the prophets humorlessly warn:
“When eggs are laid
by a lizard in the desert on a sacred day
and then, by humans,
you may never temper hunger with the eggs they lay.”
Right, I dismiss and travel on
Few days later find the lizard’s gone.
But then I could see a distant glow
Golden eggs all glisten in a row
then Wait, I say
Is today known by the prophets as a sacred day?
If so, be serious, should I expect the painful laying of a human egg?
I feel it coming on now
I feel it coming on now
I feel it coming on now (swearing by my western promises}
I feel it coming on now
I look on in pain, and beg for help
And across the sand, the lizard comes
He says: “The prophets are completely wrong, was your choice all along.”
So I squeeze his thumb, and out it-
I say, to the prophets when I’m done:
“Don’t control my egg-born fucking son
and you, none of which has ever born
never sheltered, fed or had to mourn:
“When eggs are laid
by a lizard in the desert on a sacred day
and then, by humans,
You, the barren, have no say over the eggs we lay.”

Contemporary Leisure
02:46
|
|||
As the sun sets down
Below the hills, beneath the clouds
As everyone retreated
Into their homes
Flashing on their screens they check their phones
They place their stock into their stock
They love to find they’ve gained more wealth
For what? That, they don’t know.
What should I, what should I
What should I wait for?
You won’t walk into your moment.
Everything you dream to do
You leave into the future.
You won’t walk into your moment.
Nothing ever seems to be
Contemporary leisure.
As your time runs out
You slow way down
The daily grind is now a
Chore for you.
no more bills are due.
All accounts are up to date and
Gaining fast, as you sleep.
As your health declines
And you neglect your dreams.
You’ll never see that place.
Never plan that trip with that friend
you both talked about…
You won’t walk into your moment.
Everything you dream to do
You leave into the future.
You won’t walk into your moment.
Nothing ever seems to be
Contemporary leisure.

An old secret
treat it
just like the world intends to bury it
As our credence
deepens
we have failed in comprehending it
Who did i write this for?
and will they find the world means nothing?
Who did i write this for?
and will they find the world means nothing?
Counsel
teachings
a figure loses credibility
A whole species
reaching
to disregard the right to disbelief
Who did i write this for?
and will they find the world means nothing?
Who did i write this for?
and will they find the world means nothing?
There are some words that everybody should know
So lay your feelings to rest, and let your fantasies go
We can survive without supporting the lies
learn to understand not all traditions are wise
It’s even a secret shared by those who won’t meet
who are looking for answers in the wake of defeat.
and Those who will marvel while scanning the sky
embrace the beautiful moments that we used to skip by
try…
Who did i write this for?
and will they find the world means nothing?
Who did i write this for?
and will they find the world means nothing?

Put your maps away I know the layout of these lands
barely recognizable but hey its all i have
When nothing works for me I know this shows just what I am
Hoping to remain myself and solve this if I can
Something weighing against my head
You’ll find the waste right here
Something weighing against my head
You’ll find the waste right here
Something weighing against my head
You’ll find the waste right here
This place is home to me I’ve felt alive and never judged
I could search a lifetime always longing for this sludge
All that life can be for someone else but not this man
all you love and earned has left me seeking other plans
